Long before the advent of Christian counseling, Christians have been helping their fellow Christians to grow and experience spiritual breakthroughs.
Christian Growth Coaching is not an attempt to replace Christian counseling. It simply aims to equip the church with the tools and resources to help Christians to grow.
A big hindrance to growth is the failure to mourn losses in life. Jesus says: Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted (Matthew 5:4). Instead of truly mourning losses, many Christians respond with Stoicism, anger, bitterness, or self-medicating with food, drink, or other poor substitutes.
In this course, we aim to equip the Christian Growth Coach with the tools and resources for guiding another believer into and through mourning.
